On Tuesday 25th March, Alex and Lisa travelled to Blackpool from London Heathrow Airport where they had returned from Hong Kong. This year they were privelaged to be chosen to be Team Captains of Team Great Britain for junior dancers(12–15years). This competition has a long standing tradition in the history of dance and it was very emotional especially for Lisa to take part in this role as she was part of the British team when they won back in 1996.
The members of this years team were: George Bowyer and Charlotte Sweeney, Sydney Chong and Danielle representing the Ballroom section, John Gianninni and Stevie Jones and Lawrence James and Zoe Stacey representing Latin. They all danced extremely well and made Britain proud by finishing 5th. Well done to you all. Thw whole competition lasted s week, with some great dancing shown by youngsters from all over the World. Look forward to next years event.
